What one vehicle is the Ford GT to your $kaycog?
Also, aren’t diecast pictures the best?! Wish automakers would have diecasts built for photos instead of using CGI.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage, ideally in Alloro Green without any decals. And a manual.

I have two...
I can’t figure out which one I love more though... 959 or 2000GT?

Dauer 962, preferably with the longer LeMans-spec nose. This is the only car that could outdo a McLaren F1 in every way possible except in cargo and passenger capacity.

I have to pick just one? AUGHHHHHHH!
I guess it’ll have to be a Dodge Challenger. SRT8, Scat Pack, Hellcat, I don’t care as long as it has a manual and a V8 that sounds like it can murder your children.

If you only have one favorite car, you’re not much of a gearhead.

I think nearly every gearhead has that one car that they hold above all others. I covet a Mclaren F1 GTR more than any other car on the planet, but I still have plenty of other favorite cars.

I don’t just have one, it’s anything with a multiple of five cylinders and a relatively open exhaust.

Mine has been the 98 Viper GTS since I was about 8 years old in the famous blue with white stripes. The dougcar*

BMW E86. Preferably the M, but I love them all. Look I even found a die cast model image too! I’ve never actually driven one of these, but hope to soon... Maybe that will change my stance on it being my favorite.

The Subaru SVX.
While it isn’t the greatest in any one category, I’ve always felt that SVX has a certain air about it. It just feels special, more than just a car.
To answer your second question:
Yes, diecast pictures are the best!

The MK1 Euro Focus RS.
I know it’s a shitbox on steroids. Don’t care.
Give me one in blue and I’m happy to drive it forever.

I want something that will be timeless, something I could actually afford to buy tires for, something with a manual, and something not too “loud” and in your face

If you had asked this before I drove an NSX, I probably wouldn’t have an answer. It is
so much
better than any other car I’ve ever driven. It’s the perfect car.

I’ve always been the oppo member with the function over form thing. Don’t hide the wires and stuff (especially on older Italian cars that apparently needed electricity every 6 miles)
My favorite is any TVR, Dodge, Lotus, Caterham, Ford, Mclaren, Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Ferrari model that had passionate engineers that were told “make it fast”.

I think we all know the answer I will give to this question! :P
EDIT-Can’t post pics from the work iPad, for some reason. My answer is the classic FIAT 500 and 126, of course! :)

And general liveability. I don’t think it’s fair to compare the Mclaren F1 to an actual road-legal le mans car. The point of the F1 wasn’t just its performance, but the fact that you could actually live with it.

But if you had all the money in the world, would you really buy one of these? And keep it in a garage full of supercars?
That’s why I find a question like this hard to answer. There’d be some Japanese sports car that I’d say is my
favourite
, but I’d still rather own a Zonda. They just aren’t comparable.

I have cars higher than the Ferrari 458 on my “Greatest Cars” list, but my affection has rested firmly on the last naturally-aspirated V8-powered MR car.
Same with the FXX K.
The F12tdf is amazing, too, but somebody—anybody—just body-color the darn side blade.

Seriously 2027 comes around I will import a 2002 Spirit R Type-A in Innocent Blue Mica. Talk about a heart throb car.

I can’t choose just one. You are so very evil. But I guess I would have to choose the LeMans spec C7.R
